Is there anything better for children than playing in the sand? Hardly. Strandbad Gifiz has a lot of sand in which the little ones can dig blithely and build their sandcastles. And the large adventure playground offers everything to set children's hearts racing. The 52-metre water slide and floating wooden platforms on the lake, however, are just the thing for daredevil water lovers. If you really want to burn off some energy with a ball after a long swim or leaps into the refreshing water, there are six beach volleyball courts and a meadow football field with two goals to choose from. On the spacious grounds of the lido, there is always room for a badminton or beachball match. And what would a bathing day at the lake be like without cola, fries and curried sausage ... – the beach bar offers that and much more to its hungry and thirsty guests. The family tariff applies to all single parents or parents with up to three children (up to the age of 18), provided they live in the same household. Families with more than three children can use the family ticket upon presentation of the Landesfamilienpass or the children’s and parent’s ID cards.

HOW TO REACH US

 
Strandbad Gifiz is conveniently located in the heart of Offenburg.
Whether you travel by public transport, car, or bicycle – getting here is easy. 
You can reach Offenburg directly via the A5; the pool is only about a 10-minute drive from the exit.

The B33 or B3 go right through the city.
The train station is served by ICE and several regional trains as well as those from Strasbourg.

Parking spaces are available at the lido. The first 3 hours of parking are free of charge; after that, a charge applies.
There are lockers at the pool for valuables.

Relaxation starts as soon as you arrive: There are many beautiful cycle paths in and around Offenburg that will also take you to Freizeitbad Stegermatt.
